DESCRIPTION:Nopales y Néctar by Jose Soria will be exhibited October 2 ? November 1\, 2025. Soria?s immersive artwork explores the intersectional relationships of Mexican American\, LGBTQ+\, and Catholic cultures that define the artist?s life. A free opening reception will take place on Friday\, October 3 from 5:00 pm ? 7:30 pm. Learn from the artist in person during a live artist talk on Saturday\, October 4\, 2025 at 2:00 pm. Visit Arts Visalia during the Taste the Arts Festival on Saturday\, October 18 between 10:00 am to 5:00 pm for a free interactive art activity ?Corazón Comunitario? A Milagros Making Experience. A Closing Ceremony with live performance by Jose Soria will be held on November 1 at 2:00 pm. The exhibition will come to a close on November 1 at 3:00 pm. November at Arts Visalia will showcase the art of Andrew Turner. Turner?s large scale paintings and assemblage works utilize the theme of Medieval Europe-Inspired sport as an allegory of internal emotional states. The exhibition will take place November 6 ? 22\, 2025 with an Opening Reception on Friday\, November 7 from 5:00 pm ? 7:30 pm and an Artist Talk on Saturday\, November 8 at 2:00 pm. Your chance to win a stay in beautiful Cabo San Lucas along with many other great prizes returns this year for the annual Fall Raffle Fundraiser. Raffle tickets can be purchased at Arts Visalia in person Wednesday ? Saturday\, Noon ? 5:30 pm. Winners will be selected Friday\, December 5\, 2025 at 6:30 pm.
