SUMMARY:Arts Visalia Presents: Young at Art
DESCRIPTION:The Young at Art Exhibition is back at Arts Visalia! Featuring the artworks of participants in Arts Visalia's summer children's classes\, the exhibition is a great opportunity to see all the young artists' creative work. Our skilled instructors encouraged the artists to explore different elements of art each week allowing them to discover their own way to make art while learning about line\, color\, shape\, and more. Don't miss out on the most popular exhibit of the year. The Young at Art Exhibition is on display from August 3rd through August 26th. On First Friday\, August 4th\, from 5:30-7:30 pm. join us for an opening reception. Don't forget to collect a signature from each of the First Friday stops for your chance to win a raffle presented by the Arts Consortium. In September local artists Daniel Van Gerpen and Hannolah Hope Kay are on display August 31st through September 30th with a First Friday opening reception on September 1st from 5:30-7:30pm. Daniel Van Gerpen's paintings provide an aerial view of the agricultural landscape of the Central Valley while Hannolah Hope Kay's photos offer a close-up exploration of the process of recovery. Art classes for children and adults are available at Arts Visalia. Enrollment and class information can be found online at artsvisalia.org or stop by the gallery.
