SUMMARY:St. Anthony Retreat 2020 Festival of Trees
DESCRIPTION:We are so excited to announce that this year's festival of trees will be happening!  It will also be very different from any FOT!\n\nThis year\, our Festival of Trees will be 100% online.  While we do hope to be open by December\, chances are low that we will be able to house the typical crowds.  Therefore\, to ensure that all can enjoy the festivities of this year's festivities\, we are bringing it directly to you!\n\nThe theme this year is Trees and Trains.\n\nSo how will we do an online Festival of Trees?\n\nFirst\, all of our trees will be here\, at the retreat center\, or more specifically\, at the St. Junipero Serra Chapel on the Santa Teresita campus.  Second\, the event will encompass a full week so that all will have the opportunity to view the trees and enjoy the event.  Third\, we will include spotlight videos of each tree each night of the event.  These videos will highlight the tree as well as the charity benefiting from the proceeds of the tree auction.\n\nThe auction will be conducted online\, similar to a silent auction.  However\, the tree auction will close early on Saturday\, November 21 and a live auction will begin in the evening on the 21st\, picking up where the online auction left off.  The link to join the live auction will be readily available and all are welcome to bid on the trees!\n\nThere will be more information to follow as we are closer to the date!  In the meantime\, mark your calendars and get ready for some beautiful tress for this year's first Online Festival of Trees!
