DESCRIPTION:The Throwing Wise Camp will take place from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Chamberlin Baseball Academy\, 6707 W. Goshen Ave. It is for athletes ages 8-16 and is limited to the first 100 student athletes to register at 624-3800. Cost is $10 per athlete.\n\n \n\nParticipants will receive coaching on warm-up techniques and throwing\, strengthening\, and pitching mechanics. Instructors will include The Visalia Rawhide Professional players and coaches/staff from Chamberlin's Baseball Academy. While students receive instruction\, parents will attend a lecture on common throwing injuries and preventative throwing mechanics by sports medicine physicians: Dr. Ian Duncan\, Dr. Don Schengel\, Dr. David Surdyka\, Dr. Andre Edmonds\, Dr. Bruce Le and Therapy Specialists\, a division of Kaweah Delta Health Care District.
