DESCRIPTION:Let's kick off 2016 with Wellness!\n\nPlease join us for our first luncheon on a special day\, the third Tuesday of January\, the 19th . \n\nWe will also be moving our meetings to the\n\nMarriott \n\n(300 South Court Street in Visalia)\n\n \n\nWellness in the Workplace\n\nNo organization is immune to the human and financial costs of workplace and personal troubles that adversely affect an employee's productivity. Today\, over 88% of U.S. companies are taking steps to increase their productivity and manage their health care costs by providing employees and family members with access to Employee Assistance and Corporate Wellness Programs. \n\nEffective programs provide a multidisciplinary suite of services to support to employees while encouraging them to make better lifestyle choices to improve their health and well-being through counseling\, health coaching\, incentives and a wealth of other resources.  They should also be able to suit the unique needs\, goals and budget of the organization.  The end result is happier\, more productive employees and an improvement in the overall health and wellbeing of the organization.\n\n \n\nAmy Villegas\, Ph.D. - Chief Operating Officer and Director of Clinical Services\, Halcyon Behavioral LLC\n\n              \n\nA Fresno native\, Dr. Villegas oversees operations and clinical services at Halcyon Behavioral.  In this role\, Dr. Villegas manages the Halcyon team to ensure the quality delivery of behavioral health\, wellness and employee assistance program services in a managed care environment.  Prior to joining the Halcyon team\, Dr. Villegas was the Director of Clinical Services and Compliance for a licensed managed behavioral health company in Fresno\, where she oversaw teams of intake/triage personnel\, claims processing\, regulatory monitoring\, and compliance.  Dr. Villegas has experience and training in working with developmental disabilities and autism services.  She has guest lectured on utilizing behavioral techniques and applied behavioral analysis in clinical settings and is published in multiple peer reviewed journals on various forensic and clinical topics.  Dr. Villegas received her BA from California State University\, Fresno\, Masters and Doctorate degrees in Forensic Psychology from Alliant International University Fresno.
