Get ready for the Young at Art exhibition this August at Arts Visalia. Celebrate the art made by the young creatives during the summer art classes August 1 ? 15, 2025. A fun-filled Opening Reception will take place on Friday, August 1 from 5:00 pm ? 7:30 pm and will feature free root beer floats by A&W while supplies last. This community-favorite event will close out on Friday, August 15 with extended hours from 12 pm ? 7:00 pm. Free tacos and hand-printed tote bags will be available while supplies last from 5:00 pm ? 7:00 pm. The Young at Art exhibition is proudly sponsored by United Way of Tulare County, Step Up Tulare County and Summer Night Lights. Visit Arts Visalia in September to view the mesmerizing Japanese Chigiri-e torn paper art of Reiko Nakamura Yoshimoto in the Main Gallery. The Feature Gallery will showcase the skilled Chinese calligraphy of Margaret Moholt. The exhibitions will take place September 4 ? 27, 2025. A free opening reception will take place on Friday, September 5 from 5:00 pm ? 7:30 pm. Learn all about these culturally impactful art forms at a free artist talk by Reiko?s son Bill Yoshimoto and Margaret Moholt that will take place on Saturday, September 6 at 2:00 pm.
