Brandman University Military Appreciation Day

Brandman University in Visalia will be hosting a military appreciation day Oct. 25 with services, employment opportunities and activities for active duty personnel and veterans.

All service members and veterans are invited to bring their family and friends to enjoy a free lunch, enter drawings for prizes and let their kids partake in some fun activities.

For adults, there will be a number of local organizations and businesses on hand talking about career opportunities in their ranks.

Other helpers will be providing information about education pathways for military personnel and vets, along with resources like housing assistance, financial planning and health care.
