We are delighted to invite you to join us for CASA of Tulare County's 29th Annual Once Upon A Dream Gala Dinner & Auction, celebrating 41 years of service to the children and families of our community. This year's signature event will take place on Friday, May 8, 2026, at the Visalia Convention Center, and we would be honored to have you as part of this special occasion.

CASA of Tulare County transforms the lives of abused, abandoned, and neglected children by providing them with Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASAs)—dedicated volunteers who stand as consistent, trusted figures in these children's lives. CASAs speak on behalf of foster youth and guide them through the often-chaotic foster care system, advocating for their safety, stability, and well-being.

Annually, there are approximately 1,500 children in foster care in Tulare County, but CASA is only able to serve 275 of them with volunteers and 200 of them with CASA staff. Our goal is to raise the necessary funds to recruit, screen, train, and support enough volunteers to ensure that every child in foster care has the advocate they deserve. We hope you will partner with us to help achieve this goal.

The proceeds from the Once Upon A Dream Gala account for a third of CASA's annual operating budget, allowing us to continue our essential work. Your support will help us train volunteers, enhance our programs, and provide the resources needed to advocate for each child's best interests—ensuring they have the chance to build a brighter future despite their circumstances.
