Childrens & Teens Summer Sewing Camp

Here is your opportunity for your child to learn the enjoyable fundamentals of sewing, and knitting. This children's camp is a lively and fun place to instill valuable lessons of building self-confidence, self-esteem, focus, creativity, physical awareness and a great appreciation for the arts and crafts. In this sewing camp, you will learn the enjoyable fundamentals of sewing. You will learn all the basics to get you started with any sewing project. We will begin with the proper use of the sewing machine, threading, safety, proper posture, stitch drills, and how to make 3 different seams. You will start with our simple projects, and then move into more complicated ones. You will learn how to mark, cut out the fabric, pin and sew together your Pillowcase. You will learn additional skills in construction used by top European and domestic designers. You will learn how to read the pattern booklet, mark, cut out the fabric, pin and sew together your PJ pants.
