COS: Conflict Resolution: Strategies for Navigating Difficult Conversations

This course explores the theory, practice, and application of conflict resolution in various personal, professional, and societal settings. Students will gain a comprehensive understanding of the causes, dynamics, and types of conflict while developing critical skills in negotiation, mediation, and facilitation. Special emphasis will be placed on applying the UNITY 5-step conflict resolution model to unpack biases, navigate positions, identify common ground, take responsibility for change, and yield to new perspectives.
