On December 7th the COS Theatre Department production of A Midsummer Night’s Dream was selected by the Kennedy Center American College Theater Festival for presentation at the 43rd Annual Festival in Los Angeles, February 12-15. It was one of eight productions selected from sixty nominated shows presented by colleges and universities throughout the southwestern United States over the past year.  

 

Moving an entire production to a new location is incredibly difficult and costly undertaking, but an incredible experience for these students. COS must raise $30,000 to cover these costs of 40 cast and crew going to Los Angeles for four days. To do so, the department will remount the production in the COS Theater for two shows.
