Entrepreneurship and small business development are vital to the success of economic development in Visalia and Tulare County. We believe that entrepreneurs and small business owners are crucial for a thriving community and economy. Owning and operating a business can be challenging. It requires dedication, patience, a variety of skills, and of course, money. The Visalia Chamber wants to support the dreams of those individuals who want to be entrepreneurs and small business owners.
Tonight, The City of Visalia Planning Department will present to the class on the topic of Zoning, Ordinances, and Permits. This is an opportunity for participants to learn from the City how to navigate the sometimes confusing processes of getting permits, understand how zoning works and become familiar with various city ordinances that can make or break a new business if mis-understood.
This will be a 1 hour and 45 minute presentation
