February 2014 Visalia Business Academy - Labor Law Overview: What's New in 2014
The Visalia Business Academy (VBA), is offered the third Thursday of the month. VBA offers seminars and workshops on topics that are chosen by the membership. Frequent surveys will be conducted to maintain a constant flow of feedback and suggestions, in order to mold the program to fit the demands of participants. As your business needs change, VBA will adjust to serve you better.
Several new employment laws will affect California employers’ day-to-day operations and policies, with significant changes in key areas. Included are changes in wage and hour laws; updated discrimination and retaliation regulations that expand current employee protections; changes to leave of absence guidelines; and bills signed into law regarding workers compensation. Join us for a review of these new employment laws – and learn what’s new in 2014.

All Chamber Members get one free seat all of VBA seminars.
Members who wish to purchase additional seats can do so at a price of $15.00 per seminar.
Non-Members may purchase individual seats at $30.00 per seminars or can buy an "Annual Pass" for $250.00
