oin us on Saturday, May 9 at Visalia's Valley Oaks Golf Course for the 3rd Annual 5k Run/2k Walk. Proceeds from the event provide scholarships, such as, the Family, Standard, and William M. Maguy Scholarships that Proteus is able to award to students in need each year. This event is a great opportunity to enjoy a beautiful Spring morning in Visalia with family and friends, all while raising money for a great cause! Cost for 5k runners is $27 and for 2k walkers, $10. Registration will be online at active.com. (Please note there is an additional $3.50 fee for online registration). Deadline to register online is May 7. Day of the event registration is $35 for runners and $15 for walkers. The first 100 runners to register will receive a FREE event t-shirt. To get you warmed up, there will be a D.J. on hand to spin some heart-pumping tunes; and to help you cool down, fruit and water will be provided.
