The Impact of COVID-19, and Recognizing Concerns Proactively
Join us as Seng Leang discusses mental health in the workplace. COVID-19 changed the way we looked at the world. It made organizations change their processes, and evolve. While the pandemic has had an impact on all aspects of life, the ripple effect is still being determined. Seng Leang Tang will be discussing how mental health has been impacted over the last year, and discuss things to look out for. You will be provided with insightful information, and tips to bring back to your organization. You truly do not want to miss this!
Seng Leang Tang received her MBA from the University of Utah in 1997. After running a very successful business in the central valley, Seng Leang pursued her Masters in Marriage Family Children Counseling and graduated in 2013 from the Mennonite Biblical Seminary of Fresno Pacific University. In addition to having her private practice, she is also an independent contractor for Kings and Tulare County. Her work with the counties includes working with survivors of suicide (those who have lost a loved one to suicide), servicing the DRAW Program (a program that provides short term brief therapy to college students struggling with suicidal thoughts, depression, anxiety, or other mental health problems), and conducting Mental Health First Aid trainings as well as a variety of other mental health workshops and presentations. She is very passionate about her work and absolutely loves working with college students, adults, survivors of suicide, couples, and blended families in her practice. She is not looking to retire until she’s in her 90s! When Seng Leang is not in professional practice, she can be found on the tennis courts or enjoying an amazing meal to satisfy her foodie nature. She currently resides in Visalia and a mom to four amazing children, ages 16-22.
