The UNIDOS Network x SEED Toxic Tour on December 6th will take participants ages 14 and up through several Central Valley communities impacted by environmental injustice, including NAS Lemoore, Kettleman City, Lost Hills, Buttonwillow, and Oildale. This educational experience highlights how hazardous waste sites, industrial facilities, oil fields, and agricultural practices affect local health, environment, and daily life. Students will have the chance to learn directly from community members, reflect on patterns of inequity in rural and unincorporated towns, and consider their role as future leaders in advocating for healthier, more just communities.
Participants will be notified if selected by November 5th.
