The Odd Fellows, Masons, Knights of Pythias, Elks, Woodmen of the World, Eagles, Moose, Redmen, Rotary, Kiwanis, Lions, and many others brought people together through friendship, service, and a shared commitment to improving their towns. Why did these organizations become so popular? What made them unique? And how did they shape the history of Exeter? How do they fare today? Join local history storyteller Dwight Miller as he explores the remarkable rise of America's fraternal movement and the lasting impact these organizations have had on our community—from caring for neighbors in times of need to building parks, libraries, youth programs, and traditions that continue today. The museum at CACHE will feature a new exhibit touting Exeter Kiwanis' contributions since 1923.
