Visalia Medical Clinic will celebrate its 75^th anniversary with a health festival from 9 a.m. to noon on Saturday, Sept. 24.
 
The public event will feature free glucose, cholesterol and blood pressure tests, and bike helmet and bike safety checks with the California Highway Patrol. Participants can tour the variety of booths, including a circus booth and a booth featuring old medical equipment and photos in honor of the 75^th anniversary.
 
VMC’s newest physicians will be available to meet attendees, and the clinic’s new patient coordinator will provide information to prospective new patients. Visalia police and fire department representatives are expected to be on hand, kids can participate in a coloring contest and meet Geoffrey the Giraffe from Children’s Hospital.
 
Attendees will be given a passport to be stamped at each of the booths they visit, and a free reusable tote bag to collect giveaways from the booths. They will then be entered to win one of a variety of prizes.
