Organized by the World Wildlife Fund (WWF), Earth Hour has grown from a single-city initiative into a global movement where millions of people come together each year to support energy conservation. Earth Hour will be celebrated worldwide from 8:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m., Sat., March 23. During this time Wuksachi Lodge will dim its lights and encourage guests to power down and turn off the lights in their rooms. Before the hour, guests of all ages are welcome to join a free program in the lodge’s lobby to learn how to build a light bulb and how Edison’s invention changed the world.
