After taking a short break to complete repairs to the gallery Arts Visalia is so excited to be back with exhibitions from Patrick Brien and Charis Fleshner. Using layers to create visual interest Patrick Brien’s abstract paintings invoke a feeling of architecture and mapping in urban environments that pull the viewer into the work. Creating bright and playful soft sculptures and acrylic paintings Charis Fleshner conjures a feeling of joy in the gallery. These exhibitions will be on display from March 2nd to March 25th with a First Friday opening reception from 6-8pm on March 4th. Arts Visalia Visual Art Gallery and gift shop is open from Noon to 5:30 p.m. Wednesdays through Saturdays at 214 East Oak Avenue in downtown Visalia. While checking out the First Friday art stops, be sure to take a trip along Main Street between Hall and Santa Fe Street in Downtown Visalia to see the eye catching Art on Fire hydrants.
